Safety
while diving
Dive only after taking in air deeply a number of times, and only
when mentally and physically in perfect shape; after a meal wait
at least 4 hours.
Only dive when tied to an underwater marking buoy visible from
300 m.
Do not dive alone, but in groups so as to allow to dive in turns,
while your partner can check on you at the surface while you are
under.
Communicate to family or friends the location where you are going
to dive, as well as the planned time of return, and if possible
procure the aid of a boat.
Have a full health check by a specialist at least once a year.
Do not wear lead belts that are so heavy as to pull you down too
strongly.
Your gravitational balance must be slightly upwards.
Follow a class in first-aid, and pass a test for safety-swimming.
Dive against the tow, so as to use the current in case you are
tired.
